I just tried to remove Terra Pluvialis using the Comms Room agent injector. Pluvialis is still there...but all my norns (none of which were in Pluvialis) are gone! Did I screw something up, or is this a bug?

Most metarooms aren't really designed for removal, unless they have a removal agent. I've heard of this bug a couple of times, not just with Pluvialis but with a bunch of rooms. So yes, bug, and one to be careful of

Good to know, thanks! Fortunately I had a whole warmer full of eggs, so I didn't lose all of the breeding I had been experimenting with. I guess I should make a different world for looking at new metarooms...they're fun to play with, but my game had gotten so slow I was trying to pare things down a bit!

Even the metarooms with remover scripts often glitch. One thing to keep in mind is that some remover scripts will fail if there is *anything* in the room that isn't supposed to be in there - norns, eggs, other agents, etc.
By the way, I don't care if anyone steals my ideas for their own work, as long as you don't try to stop me from making my own stuff. Many ideas I mention are things I don't have the time or skill to actually do. |
