Two questions:
First, what actually causes a Norn to go looking for food?
Second, how do "significance" and "intensity" work in stimulus genes and what role do they play?

When norns are stimulated, they have an automatic 'reaction' - an action that they do in reaction to the stimuli. In most cases this is 'look', although Darcie did a very interesting 'bolt reaction' with her gizmo norns. The intensity is how strong that reaction takes root in their brains.

I imagine the 'significance' is how important the stimuli is to the norn.

Thanks for the reply, Malkin.
Do you know if a higher number implies more significance? Or perhaps a lower number would be most significant?
