Hello! I am having trouble getting agents working in the GOG version of C3/DS Exodus.
I have put various agents into my "My Agents" folders located both in C3 and DS. I have only added a few agents - agents that came with official breeds, ecology fix agents and C1toDS (which does work).
I have downloaded and installed the C3 Update 2 Patch just to be safe and have also installed the Remaster Patch.
When I go in-game and check the injector, it doesn't show any of the agents that I have added to my folders (with the exception of C1toDS agents). Does anyone have any guidance that might help me fix this?
Many thanks,
Mip

What type of agents are you installing? Ecology fixes make me think that they could be .cos files, which don't need to be injected. Depending on what they fix, they either go in the C3 or DS Bootstrap folder.
Breeds will also not show up in the agent injector, but in the egg layers in the Norn Meso and Norn Terrarium.
The remastered patch should work... Something also makes me think that there are sometimes My Agents folders in My Documents and Program Files.
Let us know some of the sample agents that aren't working: Hopefully you'll have everything working properly soon!

Sorry it's taken some time getting back to you, I only tend to play games on the weekend.
The agents I am adding are the CFEm eggs, breeds such as toxic and bondi norns (which are .agents files and include their toys and food injectables), Amaikokonut's population controls, and a few other misc objects.
Agents that were added with an installer (eg siamese norns or C1toDS) work perfectly. Agents added to the My Agents files in the C3 and DS folders in Program Files don't show in the game at all - both the injector and egg layer simply don't show them.
I don't have My Agents folders in the C3 or DS folders in My Documents though so I shall try copying over what I have and see if that affects anything.
I believe the .cos files I added did work so that is something.

Hello again. Copying the My Agents folders in to My Documents hasn't made any difference - the agents are still missing.
Might you have any other ideas? Previously I had been able to make them work on my current set up but I can't remember how I did it since I've reinstalled the game.

Have you tried the communications room injector as well as the one on the bridge? Some things will show up in one or the other but not both.

I have just double checked and they don't show up in either (or in either egg layer for the breeds). Thank you for your suggestion though.

Welp, I had and continue to have no idea what caused the agents issue but I have completely uninstalled and reinstalled Creatures Exodus and added the Treehugger .agents file and it worked!!
I'm going to slowly add things to try and see what might have caused the problem. Previously only files added from installers worked so I'm wondering if maybe installing C1toDS made the error occur or something like that.
Currently the only thing that is throwing up an error is the Biochemistry Set - I installed Creatures outside of my Programs folders so it won't detect it. There's always something! But it's definitely a minor thing and I'm very happy right now!
