So I use C1,and I just downloaded creatures geonome editor. I want to create a grendel/norn and I was wondering if anyone could help me? |

It'd be easier if you used a pre-existing genome (mum1.gen, etc.) and then added your edits onto that, than trying to make your whole creature from scratch.
You might want to keep an eye on Discover Albia in the near future.
The case study of Dee may prove useful for ideas of advanced genetics to add in.

Malkin is right: It's much easier to start with a pre-existing genome, and add to it from there. The Creatures Developer Resource is an excellent site with a plethora of genetics information, mostly about Creatures 1! I'm also starting up some genetics lessons in the near future, which will begin with C1, and be expanded to include C2 and C3/DS. That feature should be coming soon!
Thanks for the recommendations, Malkin!
Hopefully you'll have fun with the genetics, Efoylan! Once you get the hang of it, it's quite fun. Have you also downloaded the D-DNA Analyzer? It's an excellent tool for C1/C2 to find out which genes are different when comparing two genomes.

Ooh, looking forward to your C3/DS genetics lessons, Jessica! It's hard, wading in late when half the resources are defunct.
