Strangeo Forum Petz    Snails      4/2/2012 (I didnt know what section to post this in) So does anyone play the Petz games anymore? I still play it and i find it fun. I messed it up a bit by downloading too many custom breeds. (I wanted to breed a moogle with a chocobo.. surprisingly it's a lot like what you would expect). Most of the babies don't turn out quite right, though, but that's to be expected when breeding a cat with a sea urchin. I also tried to make several dinosaur breeds with the Petz Workshop, but I never finished them. Unfortunately, after my initial round of enjoyment when it first came out, I've never been able to get back into it. I've tried several times, but the connection just isn't there. I still remember the old Petz.com where they had the classifieds and adoption center... I ended up with two Great Danes named Ebony and Ivory, who were black and white. Well, Ivory was really white, but I found out Ebony was painted with the paint cab. Ha ha! I have lots of good memories. I used to play it all the time on my old Windows XP back in late 2007/early 2008.   Hawk   4/2/2012 I've got Oddballz, Petz 4 and 5, and Petz 2. I still show my Petz - you can do that at the PKC. I still find the ggame addictive and fun. I remember when the PetzPlayers worked and the UbiSoft/P.F. Magic official website was up. I never had the opportunity to buy Oddballz, much as I loved it, but now I have all the Oddballz breeds for Petz. I did try creating breeds for it at one point, but I never did figure out how to edit the "kitten" life stage, so they all kinda sucked. <.< I had a baby that looked like a baby, but started out fuzzy and meowed. And a xenomorph (Alien) which started out fuzzy as a "kitten", and which also meowed. The xenomorph would actually have been kinda cool except for that.   Jessi   4/2/2012 Thanks for the link mudpup101 I may pop in for a bit, but most of my game-playing-time is allotted to Creatures at the moment. I played the original Oddballz, and then got the Oddballz breeds for Petz and had some interesting times with them. I tried creating breeds as well, and had the same problem as Ghosthande. They would look fine when fully grown, but up until then they would be disfigured and their legs and such would fall off. ~ Jessi's Cobs ~~ Creatures Documentations ~   Norngirl     4/3/2012 Is playing Catz-Dogz 5 and oddballz now and then still... I also use PetzA a lot , best addon tool ever made *O* ! I like to breed interessting looking (some might be odd) crossbreeds.. But I been starting some lines now too - so far,I have a generation of ECRose's Popple breed and lines of the 2 different gryphon/Griffin breeds there is for catz and dogz... I also have a bunny line,but it goes slow ^^' I wanted to start a Walret line (I love Walretz! Theyre those walrus x snail aliens from Oddballz) , but the repetive colors I get put me a bit off - offsprings dosn't get any color of the parents T_T' (good example ->bred green and black and got white - furfile probs maybe? ) I even went so far to join a Petz forum *new one - as the old that was better went down -_- ) I also made my own breeds with petshopwork (PW) and using a bit LNZ Pro..I had no probs..except When breeding mine they randomly crahs *shrugs* might be my comp.. My breed making issue nowdays is the color pallette in PW *sigh* some color comes out random depending on what graphic card you use -_- (is having this little problem with one of my oldest breeds now - they where dark purple in some areas when I created them - got the again and now theyre shown as black where the dark purple is meant to be -> all this because of pc swicthing) If anyone interessted in my weird breeds, I could show some pics and prove the file if anyone interessted thought..*Still didn't get any answer on the new forum if breeds are allowed to be posted up for people to download >_>' * Also I wouldnt mind to find some fellow petz player that want to trade with me some pets - or perhaps help out with the line *if now anyone is up for that...it's far easier to do that with norns allright)   Snails   4/3/2012 I got a new chat Jessi and everyone, look in the first post I'm GarbageSnail on SecondLife and Scum (GROSS)#4691 on Discord!   Chaotic Spriter mea     4/4/2012 I use to play petz a lot, I still have the games & most of the petz I've bred & adopted, but I had to stop for a while because of needing to reorganize the horde of petz I ended up with. I had just a bit too much fun with crossbreeding the various breeds & I ended up with way too many to play with easily. I need to finish reorganizing them before I start playing again. There are many of them that I want to put up for adoption.
