Hi everybody I'm kind of new to the creatures games but not really. I JUST found out that creatures had been bought by someone else and was still alive after so many years I only ever played the creatures adventures game a long time ago and just happened to come across something that let me know the games could still be played! Unfortunately I've been have a bunch of problems. Firstly I tried downloading the docking station and I always got stuck at it saying that the installation had stopped and the bzip2 thing couldn't read it or something and it couldn't update the game. I then somehow got around that by clicking on the engine file in the docking station program files. I', not sure if this is what I was supposed to do or I still need to update the game . That's about as far as I can get cause the email system is still apparently down and I can't get online. I also for the life of me couldn't figure out how to mess with the files to play offline. |

If you want to play offline, download C12DS; it comes with a login disabler that makes offline worlds possible. |

I'm so confused as to what to do >_<
I loaded the download patch for windows thing from the creatures wiki but when it came up there's a bunch of boxes you can check, I don't know which ones to check and nothing seems to be working right even when i download them.
Edit: Should I just uninstall everything again including the creatures docking station and try something else? |

Do you have the version of Creatures Exodus from GOG.com? I would highly recommend it, since it is stable in Windows XP, Vista, and 7, or so I believe. I have it in Windows 7, and I've never had any issues. Good luck!

Yep! Creatures Exodus is a compilation of both Creatures 3 and Docking Station. |

When you get Docking Station to work, don't bother with C1toDS. There is a standalone login disabler that works very well at http://www.creaturesdockingstation.com/ named DS Offline Option. The ReadMe.txt tells you how to install it. |
