Help Forum C3 Species    Minx      12/29/2011 I'm into my fifth generation of norns, and I've only been playing around with the original breeds on DS/CS. I'm ready to add some new species, and I'd like some suggestions on good breeds/places to download them. I recall some interesting breeds that the Creatures Mall came out with back in the day, and I wanted to know if those are still available anywhere. I'd also love some insight into user-created breeds as well. I want to create a C3 breed someday.. A few of the official breeds are available for download here, but you need to copy and change the download urls from .co.uk to .com for them to work. Formally defectiveminx.   Ettina   12/29/2011 CFE norns are good for adding some more intelligence to your population. Unlike C2 improved intelligence norns, they have no issues interbreeding with regular norns. You can get them at: http://creatures.virtualheaven.nl/agents/cfe/index.html By the way, I don't care if anyone steals my ideas for their own work, as long as you don't try to stop me from making my own stuff. Many ideas I mention are things I don't have the time or skill to actually do.   Prodigal Sock Ghosthande     12/29/2011 Yes, the CFE versions of the official breeds are the best. You can have both versions in your world if you want, too. Mummy's Creatures has my favorite breed list, even though it's not being updated anymore; you can see at a glance what each breed looks like.   Minx   12/30/2011 Ooh, cool. I will definitely check those out today. Excited to add some new dimensions to my breeding. I love what people do with genetics in this game. This way, I can to selective breeding, which is my personal favorite aspect of the game. I had a chance to look over these sites, and they were exactly what I was looking for. Thanks again! EDIT: I installed the egg version on the CFE files, and none of them seem to work. The names show up on the hatchery selector, but there is no picture to go with it. I assume this is because I never had some of the original breeds installed. Is there any place to download some of the breeds I cannot find? I think that would be Hardman and Bondi. I found the others per the links provided, so should the CFE files work properly after I insert the data? For some reason, I thought they would be stand-alone breeds (I even tried to copy/paste the genome files to no avail), but I must have been mistaken. I'm very excited to play with these new, more intelligent breeds, so help would be much appreciated! I want to create a C3 breed someday.. Formally defectiveminx.
