In these past two months I've been completely engulfed in the minecraft. I have eaten, drunk, and breathed nothing but minecraft. So many pretty blocks..... I play on a nice private server with my old lab buddies from last semester and their various friends. We have a rather awesome world if I do say so myself - hunger problems are completely solved, and we have a great diamond rich mine right in Spawnton. We even have an Experience Farm. Unfortunately, I feel I've been neglecting a few things, such as my boyfriend. Poor thing told me he's writing a stand up routine about how I'm spending more time on minecraft than with him. So I gave him the obvious solution - play minecraft with me. He just got huffy. So I must ask, anyone else here as in love with this game as I am? I don't even understand my own obsession....guess it reminds me of the legos I played with as a kid or something.  Do not upset the ugly worm, lest it be a dragon in disguise. (>oo)> |

At my college (not uni, things work differently here in the UK), we have Minecraft (full version) installed on some of the PCs. I enjoy playing it, but I can't seem to get the hang of crafting things. One of my friends from college says its good, so I may consider buying it some day. Apart from that, I only ever play minecraft classic (rarely) online. Also, welcome back KC11! |

I got Minecraft too! I joined around Beta 1.4 or 1.5. My classmates say it is a total nerd game, but then they still play it too XD We're even trying to set up an own Bukkit server with some interesting plugins for my class (better said: I had to configure it and bring it to a state where you only have to double click the starter and then give it to our hoster ).Sometimes I play on a public server too. There I managed it to become a mid-ranked mod. In SP I like to both, survival and creative. In creative I really enjoy it to create large redstone mechanisms  Lets play plants! Photosynthesis... Well, I do not really remember when I bought it, it was sometimes during Alpha prior to the Halloween Update. And I'm still adicted and mostly playing on a small server where I'm making sure that we all have enough food. And I'm trying to teach me some javascript for coding with Adventurecraft. |
