Hi there everyone.
I would like some advice on my C2 game. I often run wolfing runs and i would like some advice to prevent my worlds from crashing. And also one of my worlds did just crash, is there any way to export my norns from that world? Thanks for your time

What kind of error message did you get?
What version of C2 do you have?
Which operating system are you using?
What happened just before it crashed?
By the way, I don't care if anyone steals my ideas for their own work, as long as you don't try to stop me from making my own stuff. Many ideas I mention are things I don't have the time or skill to actually do. |

No error message. It just freeze and close.
"What version of C2 do you have?"
Creatures Albian Years
"Which operating system are you using?"
Windows 7
"What happened just before it crashed?"
What do you mean? The game was running like normal. It just refuse to start up that world again.
Any advice? ^^ |

Are these worlds you've been playing for some time? C2 is notorious for getting corrupted worlds after you've played them for a while (say, a year or more ingame time). I struggled a lot with this when I was playing C2. The only "solution" I found was to keep the number of COBs down (which wasn't easy, there was just so much stuff I wanted to put in), and make regular backups of my world so that when it crashed, I could go back to the backup and export my norns and then start a new world. Once a world started crashing, there didn't seem to be anything I could do to save it.
The game also makes automatic backups, so you could try looking in the Backup (?) folder and see if the older world file will run. |
