Excuse me, it'd be nice if someone could give me a hand with this; I've been trying to find the edit to this file (DS creatureBreeding.cos) that allows norns of either gender to kiss-pop. Could anyone help point me in the right direction, or perhaps send me a copy of their files?... The Crafty Shee & Co. |

The MATE command at the very end is it. It directly makes checks to go sure only right gender and species breed. You have to replace it with hand-made code. Your creatures will be all described as "spliced" when you do that since you must use GENE CROS on your own. Lets play plants! Photosynthesis... Photosynthesis... Photosynthesis... |

You need to use norns with gay norn genomes with the gay norn patch to get it to work. I've got a few gay norns available in my TCR profile. *points to siggie* Have you tried looking at the crossbreeding script by Amaikokonut? My TCR Norns |

Hm... I'm having no luck in getting any of them to breed, although insemination works fine. I have the crossbreeding script installed, so... Hm... Also, there's some other glitch going on. Sometimes, when an egg is layed, it's deleted for some reason or another. [EDIT: The males and females are the only ones that'll actually breed. By the by, both eggs from the egg layer and from natural breeding will sometimes auto-kill] The Crafty Shee & Co. |

I had a similar error in my wolfling run (without messing with cos files) so it may be unrelated. The only solution I found was to uninstall and reinstall DS. By the way, I don't care if anyone steals my ideas for their own work, as long as you don't try to stop me from making my own stuff. Many ideas I mention are things I don't have the time or skill to actually do. |
