OK, this has got me really confused.
I'm doing Danikat's IQ test on a pile of gen1 norns of different breeds. I force age them to child and leave them to run through it one at a time while I take copious notes on their behavior.
Anyway, three times now, I've had Treehuggers who reached adolescence way too early. Two around 8-10 mins, and just now one at birth. I have no clue what's going on here. It can't be a genetic mutation, because they're gen1 Treehuggers. But I have no clue what else would explain this. I don't have any agents that would account for this - just the Egg Finder Advanced and the Egg Counter. I'm really confused. Can anyone explain what's going on here?
By the way, I don't care if anyone steals my ideas for their own work, as long as you don't try to stop me from making my own stuff. Many ideas I mention are things I don't have the time or skill to actually do. |

In general, stress reacts with the lifespan chemical to cause creatures to age - as Treehuggers are notoriously delicate little flowers, that might be worth investigating.

Like Malkin said, Treehuggers are quite delicate, and get stressed very easily. I also remember reading something about the success rates of certain Norn breeds passing the IQ Test, and unfortunately Treehuggers are right at the bottom of the list. |

As I recall it, treehuggers don't have the instincts to fiddle around with buttons and lifts - every Treehugger who passes the IQ test does so because they're curious, not because they've got an internal voice telling them to try pushing the lift.
