For the first day of the CCSF, Ghosthande has released a pack of Portal-inspired agents, including the Companion Cube, GLaDOS's Cake, the Intelligence Core, a Radio, Scoport and the Turret.
Sam has submitted a grendel adoption and a piece of artwork depicting that grendel doing what he loves.
Ylukyun has made a banner wishing all a happy CCSF - a spirit I'm glad to see around.
Tisairy has contributed three adoptions for today - Fig G., a sweet grendel, Kazil, who has a unique reaction to feeling friendly, and Quinca the long-limbed wanderer.
Don't be disheartened if you feel you've run out of time to contribute to the festival - Laura is still accepting submissions at ccsf(at)creaturescommunity.com!

The Portal pack is quite amusing. Useful, too - I've found that Scorport can help keep foodstocks up if one is doing a single-metaroom wolfling run (which is my favorite type of WR).
Not much to say about everything else, other than I'm more than happy to have this spiffy banner in my sig for the duration of the festival. CCSF FTW.

I was glad to see Burton, Kazil and Quinca in LNA just now... and sent in a couple of creatures of my own. It looks like LNA will have plenty of previews of CCSF stuff!

Heh, I am attempting to showcase stuff as it's released on LNA, including the sampler creatures. Fig G was there too, but uh... he sadly did not last very long. I may import another copy for a round two later on though.
I hope to keep LNA up for the whole CCSF, despite it's horrible crashing tendencies lately, so I hope to see some interesting creatures warp in-- some of yours are pretty impressive-looking, Malkin! <:
Liam has been awesome enough to let me live-demo the biodomes on LNA, so that's what's showing right now. If anyone else is interested in using LNA to showcase their releases before the official release date, get in touch with me; I'd be happy to show your stuff off early

Oooh, the P0rtal pack is awesome! I love the music from the radio, and the portals are as much fun as you'd expect from fun portals!
All the other submissions look lovely too, I like the matching fanart.

Very good, Its too bad only toys seem to pass through portals when colliding with them, I thought I would be able to portal a companion cube.
Turret animation is real sweet and Intelligence core seems to actually do more then vocabulize norns? I had a child norn finish an IQ test easily. |

Child norns are quite capable of finishing IQ tests on their own - if I recall correctly, that's when their navigation instincts kick in.

Hmm, no, the portals work on much more than toys. I first tested it with muffins. Possibly the cube didn't go through because its "center" wasn't touching the portal, the game can get a bit weird about handling larger agents.
