Recently re-acquired Creatures 3 with Docking Station (Exodus). Although I enjoy many aspects of the game, I was primarily hoping to focus on the "inner workings", so to speak, of the Norn's genetics. However, and this is probably a testament to my poor search skills, I haven't been able to find the Genetic Kit. From what I understand, the Kit was eventually available free. At this point, I wouldn't mind paying for it. Unfortunately, every site that I can find to link to is down. Anyone have any suggestions?

To download from Gameware's website, copy the download URL into a new screen and replace .co.uk with .com.

That worked, Thank you Malkin. At the sake of wearing out my welcome, have any suggestions how to get past the registration? |

Get C12DS or the DS Offline Option.
You can always hop on CCChat for a quick answer.

Laura, do you have a forum for "not too bright" posters?
Thanks again Malkin. I started going through your suggested links that brought me back to the original download site. Apparently there's some credence to my wife's opinion that I'm not overly bright (I'm paraphrasing). A couple of lines below the link to the download is the user and license key. Problem solved,
Now to figure out how the Kit works...at least, I have something to look forward to in my retirement. |

There's a general list of tutorials here - but most of them lean towards the code that makes up the game world, not the genetics.
The official site has some genetics tutorials - again, for downloads, change the url to .com...
There's a tutorial by KnyteTrypper as to how to fix a fast ager (you'll know them when you see them)...
Vampess has a tutorial for how to add in the CFE edits to any genome on her site as well - I cannot recommend her fixes enough.
The all-GermanHandbook of Digital DNA might also prove useful, with translation software.
GeneCompare, although I cannot use it myself, seems like it would be a great program for a genetic engineer - even though it's all in hexadecimal.
