Until a few days ago BobCob, Genetics Editor and similar helper programs for C2 worked correctly but now when I run .exe they display message that TABCTL32.OCX is either missing or invalid. Tabctl32.ocx was in the same folder with BobCob and I clicked on .bat file for BobCob to register it but it displayed message that while the file mentioned above was loaded BUT failed to regsvr32 certain module.... anybody has an idea what this could be? I have Windows 7 64-bit (x86) with GoG Creatures...

I'm clueless when it comes to Windows 7, but I know about Windows XP mode. If you have access to this on your version, you could try running BobCob in it.
No idea why it broke all of a sudden, that's weird. |

Umm I am unlucky to have Home Premium, that's what comes on laptops.... I had Ultimate once...
I tried compatibility mode though. I attempted to run programs in comp mode for almost all Wins and it didn't work at all, instead it displays some timing out error.

Not sure if it helps, but have you tried to run as admin? And/or place the folders outside of programm files? Win7 behaves strange sometimes... |
