Does anyone have the grendel and ettin sprites and voices so that ds players can get grendels and ettins? Is this even legal? Anyway, it would be much appreciated if someone could show me where to get these because i miss my grettins. Also, I do have banshees, so will any grendels in my standalone Ds just convert to banshee sprites? in the spring you gotta let the flowers fully blossom |

Unfortunately as far as I know it is illegal to share any sprites from breeds that need to be purchased. Grendels will only use the Banshee Grendel sprites if it's the closest to the breed slot they use e.g: if a Grendel requires slot C and there aren't any sprites it will use slot B (the Banshees) instead. |

There Creatures Wiki has a list of loads of different Grendel breeds for C3/DS just in case you're interested.  |

Yeah but that was kinda my problem, there were mad grendel breeds i downloaded and i want sure if they would use banshee sprites.. so iguess im ok now until i get c3 up again in the spring you gotta let the flowers fully blossom |

grendel and ettin noises There might be a couple of them missing, so turn off autokill at first. You can also use the poodle ettin voices, and install C1 to DS for grendel voices. edit: I think banshee pack installs grendel voices anyway? |

The Banshee Grendels make DS Grendel-safe, yes. The only problem is to get them. The mall is pretty dead and GoG does not offer them either. As Ettin sprites you might be interested in the Micro Ettins. They look like the C3 ones, just smaller. In addition they have Ettin Slot B. Original Ettins are on Ettin Slot A, so every creature with C3 Ettin sprites you get will look like a micro. Lets play plants! Photosynthesis... Photosynthesis... Photosynthesis... |

I do have the banshees and i just realized i have plaugue ettin voices But doesnt the micro ettins mess up the body data and make them all wackily exploded? But yeah i do like micro ettins  they are awesome.in the spring you gotta let the flowers fully blossom |

Once you have the voices, you could convert a thirdparty breed of your choice slot A, Grendel and Ettin. Then it wouldn't be defaulting to some other breed you might not want. Converting is really easy, just time consuming. I've considered trying to do this for newer players, but could never decide on a breeds to use. Lost Content, help find it a home! |

Why so complicated? Simply leave the breeds on Grendel/Ettin B. Other breeds will not default to something random, they will default to exactly those two slots. The same is it with people who only have DS and get Norns using the C3 sprites. They don't pick random sprites, they look like ChiChis. Always. Lets play plants! Photosynthesis... Photosynthesis... Yes, but do you want Desert Ettins that look like micro ettins or possibly a Norn depending on the breeds installed? Or would you rather they look like something of your choosing? Do you really want your Bengal Norns to look like ChiChi's? Some might say yes, but I wouldn't, and I had been tempted when I started out to convert the Lilac or Dale Norns to Norn B so I had similar looking sprites to the norn I was trying to breed/edit. I managed to get a hold of Exodus before it came to that. (Yes, I very well might be OCD. Sorry.) Lost Content, help find it a home! |

You could always make your own default sprites if you have the time. Just put desaturated versions of everything. It sounds plaigarismy but considering all the recolored bengals and jungle grendels out there it isn't really. You can convert sprites in batches. It's really easy from memory if they're just a different letter. |
