Help Forum Looking for certain agents    Uzag        8/23/2011 I?m looking for a few... things for the C3/DS games. I?m not sure if they exist but maybe... 1) Door agent. There are a lot of agents that injects placeble/movable teleporters of various kinds, I?m looking for something like that but that is classed as a door. 2) A ?norn mother? I usually raise grendels, but think its fun to have some random ettins and norns strolling about. The ettins can be supplied by the ettin mother but norns need to be hatched by hand (naturally they tend to... not last very long *cough*) and that won't do during wolfing runs. So! Is there any agent that will lay norn eggs in a similar fashion as the ettin & grendel mothers? 3) Creature?s genome into a *.gen file A tutorial/program that allow me to create a *.gen file out of a *.creature. I recall I?ve done this before, but it was many years ago... ^^; 4) More favorite places If injecting too many metarooms, the icons will eventually end up outside the screen. I recall there?s some agent that divides the icons into two roves. 5) Free breeds Which of the official breeds may ones use for making new breeds?   Prodigal Sock Ghosthande     8/23/2011 Regarding your last question, I *think* any of the now-free Mall breeds (Astros, Harlequins, etc.) would now be permissible, since they're free anyways, but the pack breeds (Toxics, Bondis, etc.) wouldn't be--this based on what Gameware has said in the past that they'd prefer it if people didn't use the C3 breeds (Bruin, Bengal, Civet) but people are welcome to base breeds on the ChiChis since they are available free anyways.   Jessica     8/23/2011 Regarding your fourth question about the Favorite Places, you should be able to download the agent over at Creaturetopia, courtesy of the awesome Liam! I've tried this agent out, and it really is one of the great additions for the game. Might not seem all that important, yet it's a great way to keep those favorite places a little more organized. Discover Albia   Horstj   8/24/2011 Getting the *.gen file out of the *.creature file is quite easy: you can eighter use the PRAY decompiler (online tool) or download REVELATION whicjh alows to decompile files of any size but is more dificult to use.   Norngirl     8/24/2011 or you can simply rename the nonr genom with a letter beginning with g or e (g for grendel mother - e for ettin mother , as all genoms that start with e get randomly laid of the ettin mother and g for the grendel one. you could simply rename the grendel/ettin genoms with another letter in the start (rettin) <-- example, so you don't get any grendels/ettins at all but only the norns you want..   Uzag     8/26/2011 Thank you very much! I've not completely figured all out yet but yes, the eggonicer seems to have the kind of feature I'm interested in For some reason, I don't think muco would like that... I checked the code and the tip Norngirl made can work with the updated grendel/etting mother too; the only difference is that the genetics need to begin with "ettn" or "gren" instead   Patient Pirate ylukyun Manager   8/27/2011 If you don't have grendels and ettins in your world, you probably want to change the part where it checks for grendels or ettins, else your world will be overrun with norns. This doesn't sound like it applies to you but it is important to think of when modifying the file.   Ettina   11/25/2011 The Interporter can be toggled between door and portal. http://creatures.wikia.com/wiki/Interporter Not sure where it's downloadable, but I downloaded it awhile back so if you can't find it PM your email to me and I'll send it to you. By the way, I don't care if anyone steals my ideas for their own work, as long as you don't try to stop me from making my own stuff.
