I recently downloaded the BoBCoB collection of programs. I mainly would like to test out the Sprite Editor to attempt to make some minor changes to some of the C1 sprites. For example, some of the Norn sprites have random white spots or discolored areas.
However, when I try to load a file, I get the following message:
Run-time error '53':
File not found: BoBCoBUtils
I can see the folder containing all of the files associated with CoBCoBUtils... I just have no idea what to do with them. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Did you get the XP edition of Bobcob? It sounds like it could be a 'your computer is looking for this folder in all the wrong places' problem.

Thank you so much, Malkin! The Sprite Editor now works! I have yet to test the other programs, but I'm excited to at least start working on some of the more behind-the-scenes aspects of Creatures.
Thanks again for the link! I think I came across it and saw it mention C2 and Windows XP, which threw me off track. This worked perfectly, though! Now I'm way too excited. Ha!

It's good to hear you got your'e problem sorted out ^.^
bobcob can be quite sneaky XD
Great to hear is also you work on those small things too : D
Just wonder, perhaps you release them as download patches ?
it's even better to hear another one helping out on that XD
Im going still to continue on mine - but it will take time - life's busy X_X'
Those poor c1 norns - I dunno if clabs need glasses for the many small mistakes done to them (along with c2 ones Im fixing)
>_<
I know it may be very slight fixes - but for me too I think theyre great : D I wish you good luck on fixing them :3 |

I will certainly make any sprite fixes available to everyone! Maybe it's just me, but the random white pixels on the Horse Norns drive me batty!
Norngirl, I know you were the one behind the PMN sprite fixes, which are amazing! If you're working on any C1 sprite fixes, you're more than welcome to take on the project. I still have yet to fully comprehend how to edit the images. I'm hoping to at least tinker with it, and at most, release some updated sprites! Thanks for the luck: Good luck on your C2 fixes!

No idea what happened, but now I get this error message each time I try to launch Sprite Editor:
Run-time error '13':
Type mismatch
I had this working previously... The problem started when I let Windows troubleshoot the program, since it was crashing if I imported/exported more than once per sprite. Ugh! Any idea of what to do? I've tried removing all BoBCoB files and redownloading them. I also tested all compatability modes. Hopefully this can be up and running again soon!
Thanks for any help!
EDIT: I found an alternative sprite editing program called the Creatures 2 Sprite Workshop. It's working fine so far for me, and can handle both C1 and C2 images. Not a bad alternative by any means!

I'm running Win7 and just recently got back into Creatures. I got the good ole' BoBCob XP Version downloaded, and both SpriteEditor and packager works. HOWEVER the BoBCob.exe itself continues to give me "Runtime Error 13: Type Mismatch." PLEASE HELP! |
