I have the docking station, C12DS, and Creatures three which I just installed. Once I get six creatures, I can no longer hatch eggs. They will grow to the hatchable size, but never hatch. I am pretty sure in the past when I have played this game, I could have more than six! What should I do? |

First off, open the Options menu (second menu down on the right side on the screen).
In there, you should see 2 norn symbols with numbers beneath them. Those two options control the population in DS.
Change the lower number (which by default is set to 6) to something higher. That should fix the problem.
If that still doesn't work...well, I can't help you. I've never seen the game do something like that before.

DS you say? Try pushing Ctrl + 2
That should open the DS options window on the right. There you can enter breeding limits. The one with the Norn head means the total number of creatures. That includes imported and warped creatures too.
The lower, with the male and female icons, that determines how many self-bred you can keep. That means creatures that hatched in that certain world.
Set them to whatever you want.
...or your PC handles.

I think there's a limit of 65535 though...
Also, I find it amusing that you have six posts when I posted this.

Just change options like Papriko told, that's all
I'm a hardcore christian first, and a creature breeder second.
