Help Forum 16-bit error with C2    HolyTomato      6/3/2011 I'm sooo frustrated right now, I've downloaded Virtual PC, did everything step by step... And then I was installing C2, and i was like ''OMG finaly~Creatures 2! ;D'' And then... I got the same error as on my Vista! >A< This: The error [DDERR_NODIRECTDRAWHW] Has been detected when attempting to draw game sprites. Please check that your desktop is in 16-bit video mode, Microsoft DirectX is correctly installed and that you have the latest driver software for your graphics card. Extra information: CProgram Files\Creatures2\Images\cut.S16 Please help me TT^TT   Don     6/3/2011 Let me know if that fix worked or if you're still having problems Don AmberCreatures   HolyTomato   6/3/2011 Nope, but it's on my desktop right now, I don't really know what to do with it,just saved it on my desktop ^^''   Don     6/3/2011 Click on the Start Menu, select "Run..", type in the word: regedit Then hit enter, Next, navigate through the registy to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE SOFTWARE CyberLife Technology Creatures 2 1.0 In that 1.0 folder look for the line/text "Loading Flags", right click on it, select Modify, and if it says 0 change that to 1 and click on OK. I'm sorry TT^TT I don't understand,I changed the 0 into 1   Don     6/3/2011 You can try doing all the Windows 2000 Updates on that machine.. You said you are using a 16 bit Desktop, we checked that Direct X installed, ... Hmm..
