Sorry if I didn't post this in the right forum, totally new to this site!
I stumbled across the announcement of Creatures 4 the other day and I'm really pumped for it. mostly because it'll be on my iPod, but I would definitely get it for the PC as well. (IMO it'd be cool if you could connect iPod to PC and then take a few of your "PC" norns on the go, something like that.) And then I got wondering if you could put Creatures on your iPod - now, I had gone searching for this a little while ago (like, a month ago) and found nothing about it. But I stumbled across a program called "Mocha VNC" and decided to give it a go.
IT. WON'T. WORK.
I've tried everything. I've googled, FAQed, youtubed, No one has the most updated version and can help me out. all it tells me is it can't connect to some weird A400 thing. I have changed IP, Port numbers, I've tried EVERYTHING. and I am pretty savvy with computers. I've restarted etc. I need help, hence why I'm on this forum. so could anyone give me some help? D: I just wanted to see if I could run Creatures 3 on my iPod. Q_Q (Lost creatures 1 who knows how long ago. ) |

You can find the Creatures 4 topic here at:

VNC software, when installed on your computer (that you want to access) and the online device you wish to access your PC from (connected to the Internet, your wireless Internet in this case), should work -- provided you can run the game on your computer normally without any problems too. It just views your existing Desktop if you machine is switched on.
Have you read through this:

I just tried out the link that you send multiple times. i followed the directions step by step, but could never find the area that you "Configure" your server and set it up. I have no window that looks relatively like that, my configure window has tons of different tabs and nothing to do with IPs. I've tried several different IPs, and again, none of them work.
That walk through has confused me even more :/ I now have 4 things downloaded on my computer. the Mocha TN5250, VNC Viewer 4, and TVNserver + TVNviewer. I don't even know if I'm supposed to have Mocha TN5250 started up anymore! |

Ah yes, VNC. Personally, it's really easy to run. All I had to do was pick a VNC server software (Like TightVNC, say), then use the client to connect. If you're behind a router, make sure that the port is forwarded, otherwise it won't work. |
