I haven't noticed a lot of discussion about the CCSF for 2011 as of yet and so I decided to help kickstart some planning for it.
Last year Amaikokonut had the rather brilliant plan of creating surveys on Google Docs to gather and organize people's opinions on what the CCSF should be like. I would like to do the same thing this year, and have created a Google Docs survey for people to fill out.
The first survey can be found here!
I have kept the same questions from the previous survey and added a few new ones that might also be worth thinking about.
Since we are getting started on this a good two months earlier than last year I'm planning to keep this first survey open for a full month. This will give us plenty of time to spread the word and get as many people as possible filling out this survey. The most that we got completing the survey last year was 34 people, and that was in the final week - imagine how many we could get in a month!
Of course you are all welcome to discuss the CCSF as much as you like in these forums, but please also take the time to fill this survey out - it really will make planning for this year's CCSF a whole lot easier |

All filled out and submitted and I urge the others to do the same! I think it's great that we're planning the CCSF '11 earlier.
I've also created a CCSF 2011 Discussion topic to get everyone here at Creatures Caves thinking about and discussing their ideas from the survey. |

Ah, thanks very much Laura, both for voting and for creating the discussion topic! |

Hmm, theme-wise.. Maybe seasonal, alien themed, or.. hmm, what else..? *ponders*
Actually I'd quite like to make an automated site, so people can submit their works (in advance) with their release post and chosen date/time (checking for a free block) without needing a co-ordinator for a change. Might be an interesting experiment

A future theme. With Grandroids on its way it'd be nice to look at the future of Alife.
