I recently downloaded the D-DNA Analyzer for Creatures 1. I've been able to wrap my head around a good chunk of it using the Genetics Kit as reference, but I'm hoping someone might have enough technical know-how to help me with the rest.
The reactions and Stimuli are fairly straightforward.
Reactions tell you what chemicals mix to make other chemicals.
Stimuli give you a specific situation (eg. I am resting) and tells you what chemicals this produces.
Appearances, poses and pigments are all related to the Norns appearance.
But what about lobes, emitters and receptors? I haven't been able to figure out how to read them. |

Well, I don't know much about lobes and receptors, but emitters tell you what chemicals the norns will make all by themselves. Like when a female norn reaches adolescence (I think I spelt that right) it is an emitter that produces oestrogen. Hope that helps!

Thanks CuteIzzy, that definitely helps. Coincidently I got a mutation with a Norn the same night I read this telling me (I eventually figured out) that this Norn wouldn't have a crowdedness emitter turned on until childhood. Your description sudden makes a lot of sense.
Now if I can figure out some of the lobe stuff...that could be REALLY interesting... |
