I am having issues with my Creatures 2 part of Albian Years...Creatures 1 works great. If someone can explain to me how to post a pic, i will show you what the error says...thanks! |

you could use photobucket: Photobucket.com uploading your'e pic then somehow link it here - *I myself got a prob how to do it via the code here *blush* - but i know there should be a topic about it here somewhere on the forum ^^' |

Pic Here My little bro says it is because I have Vista and C2 will never run on Vista, but I am hoping that you guys can tell me otherwise. C2 is my favorite game and I will be horribly depressed if I cannot play it... |

You need to make sure you're posting the direct link to the image too. On Photobucket, you can find the Direct Link listed under the 'Share this photo' options. |

Hi Farli, Unfortunately your brother is on to something here. Regular old C2, even from The Albian Years, will not work on Vista. Many people have tried before, but they simply aren't compatible. You can still play C2 on Vista, if you buy the GOG version of Albian Years, which was revamped to run on newer computers. This is the version I use, and I also run Vista, so I can tell you for sure that it will work. It's quite cheap--just $9--although sometimes when they're running a sale you can get it even cheaper. I was able to get it for $5 that way. There's also C2toDS, which can be injected into Docking Station as an add-on which recreates the Creatures 2 world within your Docking Station game. It's free, and the latest version is downloadable here.  |

Yeah, sorry, Farli.  Now I've seen the error I recognise it from when I tried to play my original copy of The Albian Years on Vista. Ghosthande has given you some very good advice though; I suggested the same thing in this other topic you posted in.  I hope you do manage to play C2 again somehow! |
