Just wondered if theres anyway to get my Creatures Adventure
(Or Creatures playground) game running again without the cd- as my win ME won't recognize the cd's anymore >_>'
I can run C2 with a "No Cd patch",
(wich is useful when not having my cd at hand)
but there exist no such things for CA or CP (Creatures playground)
I was wondering if theres a way to somehow make a fix for this?
(btwn: it's the original cd's - not the xp remake, wich I own too,but I have a reason why I want to run this ones)
(edit: yes, theyre both installed - and it's not about Cd's being damaged - the question is - how to play the games without Cd (if the computer dosn't let them to be recognized or if you lost the cd's)
thanks in advance ^^' |

if the cds can be read by a different computer, try saving the data onto a flash drive, then put that in the ca computer, and tell the program to read from there? ir save the flash drive as a cd drive? :/ no idea how to do it, just ideas. sorry .

I guess this is not the help what you wanted, but this may fix the problem with your CD drive. You may have an other language set up on your system, so you may need to translate the 'English Windows Jargon'.
1. Right click on My Computer.
2. Then choose Properties, a window will pop up.
3. Click on the Device Manager tab on the top of the window.
4. There must be an item which describes a CD Drive, with or without an error, delete it and click OK.
5. Reboot the computer.
6. Windows will now reinstall the drivers for the CD drive, if everything is alright.
If this doesn't help, you may have a defect drive, sorry for that.
