I just got C1 from gog.com and the Injector Kit is different from what it used. I\'m having a problem with removing the cage from my world because they aren\'t working. I have one floating above my garden with the door completely fallen off. There\'s a .RCB file for the cage but it doesn\'t appear in my Injector Kit so I don\'t know how to remove the cage! Ahhh!!! Hi, Merboy! Nice to see you at Creatures Caves! When you choose the cage in the Injector Kit, is there a button to remove it? If so, is it grayed out? If the .RCB file is present, it should work, but it sounds like perhaps your world experienced some type of glitch. I can't recall if you need to download an updated patch for the GOG.com version of C1. I'm using my original disc, but I know I did need to install a few patches to get everything to work at first. Hopefully someone else will have some more answers to your question! And I hope that silly cage can get removed soon: That's no place for it in the sky. Ha ha! |

I downloaded the Grendel Friendly cob from here: http://www.geatville.com/creatures3a1.htm and the New Grendel Machine from here: http://www.geatville.com/creatures3d4.htm My problem now is that the Grendel Mother keeps spitting out grendel after grendel and it's flooding my world with them. And I can't turn it off! Ahhh!!! How this relates to my previous post is that the removers don't work. So if anyone knows of any patches that the GOG creatures 1 requires then lemme know. Is there a way to reset the world? Or do I have to uninstall and reinstall the whole game? The Lantern Light.com |

You could give the Remastered Patch a try and see if that helps any. As for reseting your world, although the Emergency Kit does not seem to do that, if you go to My Computer (Make sure that your game is no longer running first!) and access the main Creatures 1 directory (Program Files/GOG.com/Creatures Albian Years/Creatures 1) you should a find a file called World.sfc. Delete that file, and then find another file in there called Eden.sfc. Make a copy of that file and rename it to World.sfc. When you start up Creatures 1 again your world should be as good as new. |
