Is anyone having this popup screen when trying to go to Creaturetopia? It asks for log in and password and says authentication required. This has never happened to me before and so it raised a red flag with me. It happens when trying to go to the main area of the site from my bookmarks. This would be a good way for someone to steal your log in information, though i'm not sure what they would want that for or what they could do with it other than smear your good name with tasteless posts? Edit: false alarm? I just tried to go there again and got the regular index page.. strange. |

I'm not sure if it makes any difference, but I always go to Creaturetopia via http://ctopia.treesprite.com/. I find that the original URL never updates to reflect the pages I visit... This URL has always worked, although it's not technically the "official" or correct web address. Maybe that was part of the problem? Or as you said, it could have just been a random blip. Glad to hear it's working again for you! |
