In the ettin egg layer on C3/DS, the chameleon and neko norns keep hatching. I would rather only have normal desert ettins hatch from my egg layer. What do I do about that? In my nerd cave, nobody can hear you scream. Feed my pets: Shroomy and Glow! |

Umm, Chameleons and Neko's are Ettins. ![:\](/images/smilies/confused.gif ":\") If you want the Ettin egg layer to only lay Desert Ettin eggs and no other breeds period, go into the "Grendel and Ettin Egg maker.cos" file in the Creatures 3/Bootstrap folder. On line 45, replace the "e*" (it may be different if you already have a patch for the egg-layer, but it's still going to be the only thing on that line that's wrapped in quotes) with "ettin.final46e*". You will need to use CAOS to refresh the script in existing worlds, but the changes will be automatic for any new worlds you create after that. I believe the CAOS code is ject "Grendel and Ettin Egg maker.cos" 7  |

You know what? I can live with desert ettins not always being the breed hatched from the egg layer. At least I get some genetic diversity. I just wanted to be able to rage because ettins are stealing my gadgets. In my nerd cave, nobody can hear you scream. Feed my pets: Shroomy and Glow! |
