What the devil is going on? I don't know if anybody else has had this problem but when I try to go on to CC Chat I keep getting the error message "Closing Link: [109.169.29.95] (CGI:IRC -- No access)". I have tried to get on to chat about a gazillion times and I just want to go on chat! Viva las Vegas - or not, it's up to you. |

Laura already mentioned this problem a while ago.  This problem is caused by some script bug in Mibbit. This isn't a problem with your own connection and you won't get problems with a real client like mIRC, Pidgin or Trillian.  Unfortunately, I have a other problem with IRC. Thanks, I remember Laura mentioning it but I know to reload and try again or just try again after it cuts you off and I've tried about one quadrillion times. Viva las Vegas - or not, it's up to you. |

This happens me quite a lot times. I thought it's the problem in my location (Bosnia and Herzegovina), but it isn't. I'm a hardcore christian first, and a creature breeder second. |

I don't know what's wrong with the Mibbit applet right now, it won't connect me no matter what I try. I've googled the error, and apparently other people on the web are having trouble with Mibbit today. Just do what I do and download a free IRC client, like mIRC = problem solved, panic over. You can find chat by joining #Creatures on the WyldRyde server. WyldRyde.org have instructions on how to connect via mIRC here: http://www.wyldryde.org/2009/02/how-to-setup-mirc/ |

You could be onto something there Don, I just read this in the Mibbit Blog: * We now have failover/loadbalancing for both the widget (http://widget.mibbit.com) and the main client (http://chat.mibbit.com). Please make sure you are using these exact URLs in your bookmarks and widget code. Maybe some tweaking is all that's needed? |

When you log in to mibbit and it generates the chat code, if you send me the latest version of that then I'll take a look and see if it changed Don AmberCreatures |

It looks like the frame url works fine with irc.wyldryde.org but not with irc.mibbit.net (i.e. where our channels are). Just testing why now.. Don AmberCreatures |

Update: I've tried going to http://02.chat.mibbit.com directly setting the server to WyldRyde and trying to connect but the same error occurs. I'll contact them now.. Don AmberCreatures |

I've found it still happens via 02.chat.mibbit.com too - it works for me after a couple of tries, but yeah, it shouldn't happen. ![:\](/images/smilies/confused.gif ":\") |
