Wolfling question

I started a wolfling run quite a while back, and recently decided to open the world and do an IQ test. However, I am wondering how long I should let the norns in the Workshop live. Do you just leave them until they die of starvation? Or is there a way to kill all the norns in one room? I'm really not sure what to do.

From what I've heard, you just leave them to die, cause if they aren't smart enough to eat then they fail... *sigh*

It just seems so inhumane, and boring when you're waiting for 60-some-odd idiotic norns to pass through the iq test. I started a feral run that I'm trying to manage with the iq run right off the bat. I'm throwing all the eggs into the workshop (and the nornies that hatch before I can get them) so that I don't have to test 60 all at once. Its going smoothly, but I've already got a slider at gen 2. :(

There are ways of making it a little easier for them if you're that way inclined. An example would be to put a piece of food near the door or in the corridor (I sometimes do that, but it probably negates the whole exercise..)
