Does anyone know where I can get the Nornverter? It didn't come with the albian years I bought on GOG.com... Can anyone send me a copy?  Also, does anyone know what the nornverter does to the creatures? Don't be worried about who is right, Just follow you heart... |

Wasn't that a thingy that turned C1 norns into C2 norns? I'm not sure what it actually does though, I think it only copies over body data, pigment genes and brain data or something. The Community Scribble: make (y)our own metaroom! |

The Nornverter converts C1 norns to C2 so you can play with a C1 Norn in C2.  |

I've heard that it completely recreates the creatures DNA so I just wanted to see if that was true... I really want to use it but I don't have it... Don't be worried about who is right, Just follow you heart... |

I just converted a creature into C2 and it said it was successful. For example I used my mascot Pixie, it made a copy of her labeled PixieC2,you have to drag it from the C1 folder to the C2 folder. I imported her just now and it worked. |

in response to the question on how it works: the nornverter basically wipe's the norn's history, genetics, and learned abilities and simply transfers the norn's appearance and age. it just creates a norn that looks the same as the one you had- nothing more. I figure it would use the ?252.gen files and change the appearance genes. Or maybe it has some sort of inbuilt template. (It's not test.gen because the norns are pigmented  ) |
