I just installed the GOG version of the albian years and all is good... Until now The genetics kit won't connect to the application to lay eggs etc. I read that the remastered patch fixes this but it still did'nt work! Anyone know a fix? If not is there a way to create an egg file from a .gen file?

You could rename the genome something short and use the Egg Maker - it injects in C3, though.

Hmm is there a c1 and c2 version? Hate to say this but I don't really play C3...(waits for gasps)

Oops, sorry! I remember CGM being my favourite, although that was pre-Albian Years.

Well i will test this in a minute! Just need one for C2 now (I take it this doesnt do C2?)
EDIT: Unfortunately it also doesnt work! I guess my only hope is a program that can create an egg file from a genome so i can get it from the hatchery.

Azumizai and others seem to have got the C2 Genetics Kit working with GOG's The Albian Years... You sure you installed the remastered patch correctly? |

I tried it tons of times! I even reinstalled creatures! Good news though! I download an egg maker that creates eggs from C2 gen files! so thats working okay But I still need an alternative to C1
does anyone know a way to convert C1 gen files into C1 egg files?
EDIT: YAY! I fixed it! the problem was because I was not running the genetics kits in admin mode!
