Yesterday my dad phoned up BT and asked them if we could get broadband. I had been badgering him most (if not all) week to ring them up. The modem is coming on thursday, and the Broadband will activate on the 16th of October. I can't wait. For those of you who are a little confused of how I do not have the internet, and yet able to surf the web, I will explain: The Nintendo Wii has a special channel known as the internet channel. The wii itself is like a wireless router in some ways. It will connect to an access point, and use that as an internet connection. The internet channel itself is very basic, and to be honest is quite naff. It cannot download files, display websites that require Flash Player 8 or higher, (it only has Flash Player 7) and the on-screen keyboard it uses is far too slow. So you can probably wonder why I am so pleased with getting broadband. Also, the first thing I'll do is add Creatures Caves as my homepage.  |

AND THERE WAS MUCH REJOICING unlike you, i'm unhappy though. our ISP used to give us unlimited bandwidth, but now everyone has a limit of 30G because of their new 'fair' policy. how about they give EVERYONE unlimited bandwidth? that's fair D: *cries in the corner* |
