Strangeo Forum I used to DREAM about...   1 | 2 Azumizai      8/17/2008 I figured we needed something to be particularly rediculous here. Well... some things ARE rediculous here. This is the "I used to DREAM about..." game. It goes like this. Pretend we're all old men or women sitting around a table, talking about our childhoods. I first state something When I was young, I had a pencil with my name on it The next person would then. I used to DREAM about having a pencil. In my day, pencils were outlawed! When I was young I had a pet cat And the next person... A cat!? I used to DREAM I had a cat. Cat's didn't exist back when I was young When I was young all we had were dinosaurs. And so on... So that's how the game works. ^__^ Okay. So I'll start off. "When I was young, I used to watch TV on this old itty-bitty black and white television!"   KC11     8/17/2008 I used to DREAM about owning a black and white tv! In my day, if we wanted , say, boxing, we had to watch cousin Jamie and uncle Albert slug it out! In my day, we read heavy clay tablets that were either terribly heavy or warm and melty. -_- When I was young, I liked to paint toy horses.   Azumizai   8/17/2008 I used to DREAM about toy horses! All we could do is paint REAL ones. And you never wanted to do something like THAT. Horses didn't appreciate paint very much. Back in the day, all we had was a cave, and we were lucky if a bear blocked the entrance to keep the draft out. (Though, at that point, we didn't mind the draft at all) When I was young, I liked to run around in circles randomly. For hours on end. My house was merely a shack, and it was too dangerous to go outside. Back in my day, all we could do for that was reach our hands in a beehive, and if that didn't kill us, we'd scribble on bark with that. In my day, we all walked around barefoot, and this place used to be scattered with thorn bushes and sharp rocks. "Oh, we used to dream of livin' in a corridor!" I used to DREAM about running around my yard naked. In my day nakedness simply didn't exist! Everyone had to wear clothes at ALL times, for fear of being shamed and shunned by a prudish society! When I was young, I used to shovel snow without a spade!   Azumizai   8/19/2008 Finally! Someone got it. I was waiting till someone figured where the inspiration came from. ;] I used to DREAM about using a spade. Our father would chase us down, and use US as shovels. And gave us a penny each for the trouble so we could go buy tar from the tar store. Why, when I was but a tiny tot, if I wanted to go fast, I had to ride on the back of a T-Rex chasing after its next victim! We used to roll around, without lungs mind you (they hadn't been invented yet) and wonder what the air around us was for! When I was young, my favorite food was bacon. Mmm... But there was nothing our gaunt, hungry little mouths craved more than a sizzling strip of bacon. When I was young, I could only count up to 35.
