Today at the Library my Memory stick broke. Whilst downloading some things, the computer said that the location is no longer available, so I took it out and the end was loose. I tried to push it back in the PC again but the top came and it is now in pieces as I write this post. Does anyone have any advice? That thing cost me 10 pounds. |

Wow, I didn't know they could break like that. I have one and that's never happened! Poor memory stick. Anyway, I was thinking; maybe you could try taking it to a computer repair shop? I'm not sure how much it would cost to fix it or if it can be repaired but it's worth a try, right? just an idea. ^_^ Otherwise...I guess you might have to buy a new one. Good luck with your memory stick!
I'm back after 11 years. Holy dooley! |

My dad has had a look at it an he said that one of the metal rods is smashed in. He has managed to put a piece of tin foil where the metal was and put some black tape over it. It does work, but I have to press down on the tape, and sometimes it refuses to work at all, and my computer tells me that their is an "unknown" object in the USB slot. |
