Funny how sometimes a song can have such an effect on you. Probably where I'm a bit melodramatic, but a lot of the time the mood of a song can be the difference between me sobbing or grinning madly (and dancing very very badly)
That awful Alphabeat song, Fascination. (If you're not in the UK I doubt you'd know it, to youtube with you!)
I had it on my ipod yesterday when I was walking home from college, and I ended up skipping/twirling/running the rest of the way home. Its corny and awful, I know, but so uplifting!
What songs make you do stupid things? Which ones make your day, or otherwise?

Wow. O_O I never thought I'd see the day...
I always cry, no matter how many times I've heard it before, when I listen to "The Blackbird" by Silly Wizard. But that's not as stupid as when I listen to "Living La Vida Loca" from Shrek 2; both Ettinfreak and I start to sing along with it, as badly and off-key as we can.
It's very fun, but kind of wacky. XD Many people give me funny looks when I sing it, because I'm known by the people in my general area for being a good singer. >_>

Funny you should start this topic DG, I had something like this yesterday. To cut a long story very short, I'd moved into a new house on Tuesday, it was horrible (basically my landlady was trying to rent out a room to me, that my housemates kindly lumbered me with, that legally, she shouldn't be renting out in the first place) so yesterday I decided to move back out and as I was driving back to my parents house, I was listening to This is Home by Switchfoot. The tears were flowing... Relief? Disappointment? Anger? I'm not quite sure yet.

The Pkunk tune and the many remixes I've found of it always make me feel insanely happy. It's a happy little ditty that always makes me feel good about myself no matter how bad things are. There's just something about it, I don't know what. Here's the original 3DO song if you're interested.
