I'm looking forward to going home and having a month's break, spending time with family and having no terribly long essays to do.  My flatmates and I are doing the Secret Santa thing is year, that's as far as my xmas shopping goes. |

Christmas aint no big thing to me, but my family wants me to come home then so i guess i'll go. And yeah, i got some presents for friends too, but dont tell anyone. c__c that'll ruin my reputation as enemy of christmas. |

Hah - You'd love to personally know me, then, KC11. What I already have for Christmas: A Gaming computer, with the full package of all things necessary included, even things like a USB drive to go with it Autodesk Maya 8.5 A load of sculptures made from other artist friends. Some new Pastels A new Wireless Adapter specially for Vista (stupid Vista) What I'm giving: (shh, don't tell them!) A dragon sculpture, made by me, (and WOW is it beautiful and fully detailed) that stands about 2 feet long and 1 foot tall Another dragon sculpture, only smaller. (Think 1 foot tall, 1 foot long) A triptych (3 peices as a series) canvas painting that I actually won many awards for, but someone special wants it, and every time I look at it, I love it's beauty I put into it.. But hate the symbolism I also put into it. -Karias; a bit fruity and gone bananas in the wrong climate!  |

What I really want for Christmas: The war with Iraq to end. Some new pairs of pants. A new toy for Thomas. _ Christmas is my favorite time of year! I love decorating the house and the tree, as well as hanging out with friends and family. |

i was going to rant about how much i hate christmas and don't celebrate it, but i won't invade the thread just to be a scrooge. what i'm getting/have gotten is a haul of new clothes, since all mine were old and ratty. that's it. i usually write stuff for people and stuff for gifts because i'm broke. Nice.. That reminds me, I need to go shoeshopping for some new joggers.. mine nearly 'speak'. I think I might be getting a new mobile from my parents now - my little brother broke his recently and mine is old, but still mostly in one piece.I don't know what I should get my big brother, though... I could always get him a sketchbook, I guess. My parents and baby brother are sorted, unless Dad's got the 3rd DVD of the Brittas Empire hiding somewhere. If he does, I shall be cross. My TCR Norns |

I'm hopefully getting a PC tablet for xmas, then I can do digital art without struggling with my horrible clunky mouse! But that's all, since they're so expensive. I wouldn't mind an iPod, but meh... |

This year I've been really confused about what to ask for. I did secret santa with my friends; It means that 1)You spend less 2)You can get a better quality present for your person I've just asked for vouchers/money as I definately need books for study and money to save for university. My parents cancelled our October trip to Dublin so they could afford my christmas present so I've got a feeling it'll be great. I really have no idea what it is. My only guess is a laptop and even then, I don't think it's likely. The only thing I'd really love this christmas is great health, I've not been well lately. |

Here's our early little Christmas present too, as requested by Laura.  (I have better pics, but I e-mailed them to myself and some won't load for some reason.) I also learned yesterday that I'm getting a PS3. In addition, I finally managed to track down this board game thing for one of my friends. Hurray! |

I wish people would give me dragon sculptures they made themselves!  Also, Lily's an absolute darling, Karias... a perfect little lap-sitter and hair-snuggler! It's a shame she seems to lost her original home, because it's 100% certain she isn't feral. ...though of course there's always the joy of having my feet kittybit in the middle of the night and etc. Gotta love naughty-kitten mode! XD I can't really believe how close it is to Christmas! Just a few years ago I would have been counting the days and hours down, but now I just sort of let it sneak up on me.... |

So now I guess the question is what did you do for Christmas, and what did you get? In the morning we took our exchange girls down to the beach, which was pretty quiet, and they used their new bodyboards, and we got photographic evidence of their surfing on Christmas Day, as they'd been bragging all year to their friends. Then we went back to my aunt's for Christmas lunch and opened presents. Then everyone sat around and talked and slept etc., we had dinner and then we went home. The next day we went out surfing again, after the girls had phoned home, and went to my cousin's for afternoon tea. I got a teatowel and hand towel from my gran, a set of salad spoons, cake slice, and cheese and pate knifes from my aunt, $20 from my other gran, a gravy boat (in case I ever learn to make it), a set of salad plates, and steak knifes and cake forks from my mum and dad, and from my brothers I got the soundtrack to Spamalot (and a vampire bunny hand puppet) and a rare sugar bowl. It goes with my set, but it's not exported to Australia. I have a rare sugar bowl. My TCR Norns |

Thanks Megan! Hope you all had a good Christmas, I just spent the day with family and then we went to our neighbours in the evening. I got Red Dwarf series 1-8 DVDs and an iPod 3rd gen. Nano. |
