The best series of games ever made. Creatures can't hold a candle to it. Actually, if Creatures is a candle, Metroid is a million watt lightbulb.Here's the Wikipedia page if you're interested. It's basically about a bounty hunter named Samus Aran going around killing stuff. Here's what startles some people: Samus is a girl!

Sci-fi isn't just for boys, especially now that the newest game is out. Really, Metroid Prime 3 : Corruption is the reason to buy a Wii.

I'll shut up now.

On the topic of MP3:C, can anyon help me with Rundas? He's killed me twice now.

I don't like killing stuff. Sorry to be a wet blanket, but violent games aren't my type of game. I've seen my brother play, though. Maybe when Ettinfreak gets an account (which may be fairly soon) he can help you?

I'd rather take a candle over a lightbulb any day- particularly a "million-watt" one. There's no practical use for such a strong light source.

I dislike Metroid passionately, by the way.

Could you possibly ask him about it and post what he says? Also, can you ask him if Metroid Prime Hunters is any good? We're going to Florida in November and my mom usually buys me one new video game for my DS to take along, and MPH has been catching my eye lately.

Also, Rundas killed me again.

I play! I've been a fan since the NES's heyday.

MPH is ok, but you need to be very coordinated. You often need to press several buttons at once.

The trick to Rundas is to use missiles when he flies around, and charge beams the rest of the time. And it's a good idea to shoot his projectiles whenever you can. Especially that big ice sling-thingie, it drops several refills. He's most vulnerable when he's on the ground. When you knock his armor off, go into Hyper Mode IMMEDIATELY and blast the bejeesus out of him.

Hm. Reminds me of American Mcgee's Alice (one of my favorite games.)

Though I still like A life games over violence games.

I'm still trying to talk my dad into playing creatures a little bit, but he only wants to play his Doom games....

Metroid does look pretty fun, but I've never played it and I'm saving up for more Ratchet and Clank games right now ^_^;

Nevermind, I killed him! ^_^ Tayuh, gimmie a hug! I've been a fan since about a month before MP3 came out. I know, pathetic. I never knew that Samus was female before then.

Anyway, now I'm stuck on the monster in the Levianthan Seed. The guy with the red bally thingies that are in the holes that look like they're in morph ball slots.

Are you Morph Ball bombing his feet when they become encased in blue? That took me awhile to figure out. And are you going into hyper mode when you blow one of the red balls up? The only way you can destroy them is with Hyper attacks.

Anyway, NEVER stand still for more than maybe seven seconds. He may be made of several tons of stone but he moves REAL fast.
