Strangeo Forum Kid Nation    Dreamnorn      9/21/2007 I've always loved reality TV, especially shows like SURVIVOR. Kid Nation is very interesting, and I would love to enter in it. But first... I want an honest opinion: do you think I should? I've read that four kids got sick after drinking bleach, of all things, from an unmarked soda bottle and one girl got some oil burns, but I believe it was just the kids being clumsy. Still... It'd be interesting seeing another CC'er on TV though, heh. And yeah, there's quite a bit of money involved (for kids that is- everyone gets like 5k USD).   angel51431     9/21/2007 chances are veeeeeery slim that you'll get in if you do apply. There's scores of thousands of kids sitting there and thinking 'I wanna do that too!' - very few pass. Granted i don't know anything about the show other than what Jon Stewart showed on his clips - a bunch of kids hysterically crying and stressing over something or other. Sounds... fun. also, drinking bleach can be *deadly*. Don't think of it so lightly. Watch there be a few lawsuits after the show is over. I sure as hell would get some prominent lawyers on their case if my kid drank bleach in their custody. Yes, I'm the forum ... Any questions? How young do you have to be to get on it? Under sixteen? Eighteen? And maybe I could get some other people I know in real life to get on the show too. I wonder how many kids are trying to join. Perhapes a thousand? Do not upset the ugly worm, lest it be a dragon in disguise.
