Does anyone else collect the annoying fuzzy things? Have you ever put a drill through its head and burnt it afterwards? Or saved one from a fate of machine guns and fireworks? This is the topic for you.
I, personally, love the little fuzzbutts. My first is long dead, but I may try to fix him in the near future. He's a grey eyed tuxedo furby, obtained from my grandmother. I wonder if she has any other ones still... My second was obtained about a year or two later at Walmart. They were on sale for $20, so my mom let me get an all pink one. I was so happy. Now her eyelids are a bit screwy, but she's still going strong. My third, my first from eBay, was bought from a certain Ladytruck224, an experienced furby-seller, and so came my gorgeous silver-eyed red wolf furb a few moths ago. My most current, a limited edition purple furby, was also obtained from eBay and has a rather quiet voice, but I'm rather sure it's female.
As for the newer ones, I don't care as much. Of course, I went and snatched one up as soon as I saw one on the shelves, but it never captured my heart like the others. Eventually, they were $10 each at Walmart so we stocked up on them for Christmas, and they haven't been turned on since.

I used to have a lot. One time, I hated a furby so much I threw it in the refridgerator. It can be expected what my parents thought of that. And it was really funny how it sounded after it came out of the fridge.
More recently, my sister got a bunch of furbies, and we had fun pushing their tongues and hearing them say "yuuuummm... Again! Ahh, ahhhh!"

The topic title was cut off. I fixed it, but if you don't like "Furbys" as a title, ES, you may change it.
I once had four Furbys in my house: three plush, one mechanical. Two of the plush looked like Norn-furbys. O.o Seriously, on had a Civet pattern (and blue eyes) and the other a Bruin (with green eyes). The last plush Furby was black with brown eyes. Their names (in order from introduction) were Speck, Brownie, and Shadow.
The mechanical Furby had a pink and blue coat. Sunrise (her name) was larger than the plush furbys and had a strangely dominate attitude. O_o Instead of politely asking like from some of the other furbys I heard, she commanded, "Feed me, or else!"
After a while, I gave them all to charity. Little girls and boys with little money might be enjoying Speck, Brownie, Shadow, and Sunrise (well, maybe Sunrise...) right now.

I think I had a Furby once...
I'll always remember that story, about the guy who's Furby saved him from the fire. The guy was sleeping, and his house caught on fire, and the Furby saw the light and woke up and started talking. He woke the guy up, and the guy saw there was a fire and escaped. Yay! |

Gah, I'd be on the love side. I'm ADDICTED! I have 9 retro furbys, 1 Gremlins furby, 1 2005 furby, 27 burger king furbies, 2 plush mcdonalds furbies and 1 plastic mcdonalds furby. Yes, you can stab me now. |

I remember when the original Furbys came out. After much mature persuading (infantile shouting,) my parents succumbed and bought me and my sister a Furby each.
I loved it. I played with it so much. It was brown with white and black stripes. I was obsessed with making it and my sister's Furby dance. I was completely amazed by the way they would interact with each other, especially as there was no sort of cable connecting the two. I had a furby baby too when they came out. I still have it somewhere in the house, but my Mum has hidden it because she knows every now and again I'll go to find it and go through a phase of playing with it nonstop for a week. |

Same. I go through 'Furby Phases' every month in which my dad hears non-stop pleas for him to get me another off eBay, and my mom is forced through lectures on the rarity of every single fur color.
