Strangeo Forum Summer, What Are You Doing?    Tea Queen Laura        7/17/2007 Who's doing what this summer? Or what have you done so far? What's left of my summer is going to be spent getting ready for university - I'm going to be moving out of my parents home and living in a flat on campus come September, so there's lots of things I need to buy and sort out. On top of that I need to recover from my surgery and pass my driving test by then. Really, I'd much prefer to holiday abroad to some interesting countries and do some sightseeing, or relax on a beach somewhere.... Maybe next year.   Dreamnorn   7/17/2007 I've never left North America, but I did some traveling so far. I've been to Missouri, to see my grandparents. Ettinfreak and I had a blast there. Much different than the suburb we live in. We are also planning on going to Lego Land and Seaworld sometime this summer, but I'm not sure when. My whole family is also going to spend a whole day at the beach, where we may go surfing. Hawksight   LoverIan   7/18/2007 Oh I am at my granpa's in Florida. I spent it all on the computer and PS2 while looking after Mew and Thundernerd.   christine   7/18/2007 i went to the national oldtime fiddling championships, then went to see erik in oregon . man, that was a long freaking road trip. now that is over, the summer is sort of a buzzkill, just sitting around waiting for school to start and getting more and more wound up. there is a fiddle contest next week i'm going to (i live my life contest to contest), and my favorite band is playing their last show ever. all i've been doing in the mean time is messing around on jrc and staying up way too late talking to erik. oh yeah, and i saw cirque du soleil last night. Summer is the most inactive time for me, sadly- I feel like one of the few who look foreward to school.. Then again I loved Anatomy class - it's like Med school or something. . So intriguing and excitring . . I WAS planning to go attend a bullfighting school and a bloodless bullfight along with setting up a local one in this town with helping hands of cattle owners, buuut . . . sigh people from the north are so afraid, so narrow-minded, so . . Anyway, nothing of that happened. I end up practicing alone in a barn with a muleta (bullfighting cape). Yeeah . . just so you know, I in no form or way will ever go to or attend or support a real bullfight containing blood or death -Karias; a bit fruity and gone bananas in the wrong climate!
