freak_breeder, saying you're not begging doesn't negate it. We all want to be treated like the kings and queens we are on our birthdays, but creating a topic that can be taken to imply "get me something or I'll go passive-aggressive all over the place and make you feel bad" rubs on people's nerves. If someone wants to do something for you, it's not going to come out of something like this... it's much better to have zero expectations and be pleasantly surprised.  |

I'm really sorry to be a killjoy, but I think you've created this topic too prematurely, freak_breeder. If we started celebrating your birthday now, a whole 46 days/6 and a half weeks early, when the actual day comes they'd be nothing left for us to celebrate. But we now we know when your birthday is, we can bear that in mind and make a special Happy Birthday topic for you on August 30th. It's just seems silly to make such a topic now - do you get what I mean? |
