oh, honey... *hugs* Join the club. Try not to dwell on it overmuch. Try going and doing something just for yourself, something special to take your mind right offa him. Do something with your girlfriends - get out of the house! Beach, shopping, girly sleepover, bowling etc. Use your imagination. Let the pain fade a bit - although you might not believe it right this second, it will fade. I find that moping for a fortnight does wonders for me. Coulda-woulda-shoulda in retrospect won't help you heal - try and think of things in terms of experience to help you in pursuit of future loves.

I am in no way an expert on this or anything, but this happens to everyone at some point in their lives, and people can go through a good number of unsuccessful relationships before they find "the one". And remember Julia, you're still young, you have plenty of time to dabble in boys and relationships.
What Malkin suggested is very good advice, go and have some fun and take your mind off things, you'll soon feel better. |

Don't feel bad, Julia... that happens to me too . In fact, practically everyone had that happen to them. I have to agree with Malkin and Laura: do something fun or interesting and soon you'll feel better .

Relax, boys are jerks.
There's this really cute boy in my grade who I'm (not-so) secretly in love with that I've liked for four years. He keeps going out with sluts. And I'm just keeping a picture of those girls on my dartboard and hoping for the best.
He'll come back. You're...13? He'll be sending you flowers by the middle of high school.

I TOTALLY agree with EvilSpirit! Most boys at this young age ARE jerks. Like she stated above, by High School you won't be able to get away from him .

God, I hate middle school...Crazy teachers, all the jerks you'll ever need, and frequent i-pod theft.
The only good thigs about my school is that 8th graders get to chew gum whenever they want, geeks like myself are accepted, and we can do DDR for gym warmups. Also, when the 5th graders are doing Mesopotania, they do a Sim City sort of thing, but it's a Mesopotaian village.
However, they started that when I moved to 6th grade.

Actually, I'm home-schooled, so I wouldn't know that much about it . But in a year I'll be an eighth grader.
*notices this is going off topic* Yes, well, I hope that you survive middle school well (maybe watch Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide?), and by High School, I bet he'd be seriously longing for your attention .

Wow, I feel . . Old. Really. Junior (grade 11) HS'er here, and. . Yeah.
Personally I'd say forget about him, and that isn't in any rude intention or such to say- because really, when I was a middle Schooler I had a lot of crushes who, well, never liked me . . After a while I learned there are much more important things in the world than boys.
