I don't know is there's already a topic about Morrowind, but I made this anyway.
I know that Bonnieshee and Beatfreak play Morrowind, but does anyone here play it?
Morrowind is the most awesome RPG ever! It's won so many awards and it has a huge online community.
My current character is a level 11 vampire Dunmer, with a full Bonemold outfit and Devil Spear. |

For those of us who don't play Morrowind, what's it about? What's the setting, storyline, general idea etc? |

Morrowind is set on an island in Tamriel (the world the game is set in) called Morrowind. The island has bee subjugated for 400 (I think) years by the Empire, now ruled by Uriel Septim.
The game is VERY open-ended, so you can do as you please, ignoring the main story quest.
I have had the game for a while, but I have only puttered around with it occasionally, so all I have to show for it is a level 1 orc knight. I must play some more.
Note: On another thread, the price was asked about. I got it for twenty dollars, and it included the expansions Tribunal and Bloodmoon (you can play as a werewolf in bloodmoon!) |

Bonnieshee is a real Morrowind guru!
If you have questions she'll probably answer them.
I got mine for $20 too, with both expansions. It can be rather buggy though....
It's lots of fun randomly punching an NPC on the shoulder and watching the nearest guard rush towards you as fast as his legs can carry him XD
Unfortunately, you have to pay about 4 gold Septims to him after that -_-
You can custom create your character, choosing one of the races (Dark elves, Nords, Imperials, High Elves, Orcs, Redguards, Wood Elves, Khajiit and Argonians) and you can decide what their skills are and stuff like that.
Annoyingly, with the Argonians and Khajiit (beast races, Khajiit are anthro cats and the Argonians are like lizards) there's not many heads and hairstyles to choose from.
EDIT:
There's an Elder Scrolls Wiki, with an entire section dedicated to TES3: Morrowind.
