I know that many users here are from Europe and I was looking for some input on my situation for next year. I am planning on studying abroad in either Scotland (Paisley) or Sweden (Kalmar). Which would be the better alternative? Or should I go somewhere else all together?
Thanks!

A lot of users are in Germany, as far as I know.
But, I don't know much >.< |

Scotland, it's cold, and lots of snow.
Not really active around these parts anymore. |

this has nothing to do with Creatures, what poor forum choice you've made, sir!
I'd say Sweden. Just cause its more original.
Yes, I'm the forum ... Any questions?

I've been to Scotland - there's mountains, rain, sheep, more rain and Haggis...
Sweden definitely sounds like a more interesting place to be. |

I agree, unless of course you like spooky castles.
Plenty of those in Scotland. |

Have you been to both places to see what they are like yet?
You might find Scotland to be insanely cold with very few national holidays. I'm not sure its somewhere that I would want to stay for a long period, and I'm from England!

Italy maybe?
You need to do a lot of research and have a clear idea what you want from your education and from your time abroad.
Mine would be more artistically centered, that is if I could ever aford to something like that. I kind of like the idea of maybe going to Japan, New Zealand, or Greece.
LOL, wehn I was going to school in Texas, because Houston atracts people from all over, there were students from almost every country. Even one of my Teachers was from Puerto Rico.
I was born in Alabama so I had not seen more than Mexicans till I was in my late teens. I love being in a mixed community. the Salt Lake City area is pretty well mixed too. Lot of Greek food also, which I firat had the Houston area .
Food I think should also be part of the decision, but not the main determining factor. It is just part of exposing yourself to new things and a wider view of the world.

(Yeah!!! NZ! You could visit me XD)
Wherever you go, it'd be good to see what kind of work experience you'd get there. Eg. if I wanted to study abroad I'd probably go to America and check out Hollywood to increse my chances of getting into Weta. |
