Adopted my second Creatchi, which turned out to be another yellow Grendelchi! Guess they really like me! Also wanted to post another "Thank you!" to Rascii for making this feature possible. I know there are a lot of suggestions out there now, but even as Creatchi stands at the present moment, it's pretty awesome! Now I might just have to go a little more in-depth with the storyline of my new Creatchi! (And truth be told, I named the egg after watching the Hercule Poirot episode titled Yellow Iris yesterday. Guess this little one knew she just had to be yellow to fit the description!) |

You know what, Rascii; I understand why you get demotivated by all the suggestions and ideas for improvement. But it does actually mean that you've come up with something awesome here that really engages people. You have reason to be really proud of this feature, that brings the community even closer together and makes us more active. And despite all suggestions, people really love this thing. And as we see it expand and evolve, we get even more engaged with thoughts and ideas. Don't let it bring you down; it's only an indicator of how much people enjoy the Creatchis. In the end, it's your baby, and you're the one who decides how it evolves. Meanwhile, we enjoy what you have given us, which is pretty awesome! |

I have a ponderable that I need some input on. So far on the subject of Creatchis: If RP threads go in the Strangeo forum, where would a journal-type thread go? The Writings forum? Even more, has anyone else thought about doing that for their own Creatchi? I've been considering doing something like that for mine, starting with my current Nornchi Zojja, but I'm stuck scratching my head over where such a thing would be placed. Maybe its better to stick something like that in a blog instead. ![[nlaugh]](/images/smilies/emot_laugh.gif "[nlaugh]") What do you folks think? From the depths of Deep Lurkspace I emerge... I think there already have been journal-type things in the Writings forum. I mean, technically they are similar to fanfictions, aren't they? I'd guess the Writings forum is a good address to start with. If it was wrong, a mod probably will point it out nicely to you. It'd be just placed incorrectly by accident and not intentional trolling. To your other question: nope, I did not consider writing such myself. In my opinion, journal-type topics would be fine in the Writings forum. The Creatchi roleplay was only moved to Strangeo because all roleplays have been housed there in the past. |

ah a journal for the creatchi's are a brilliant idea i think i may have to start one for moggy! creatchi is such a wonderful project and is probably one of the best things to come to the community for awhile, it brings us all together as a community, we help eachother and have even started organising arranged marriages i can only hope that it continues to grow and change into something more and more wonderful with each update |

More stats, for your delectation and delight (or something)... 14 breeding-age creatchis (5 nornchi, 5 grendelchi, 4 ettinchi) Within the next 5 days (Shee willing), there will be another 17 young 'uns coming up (6 nornchi, 9 grendelchi, 2 ettinchi), although we'll have lost one of each type to age by then. Nornchi: currently 4 females (2 second-gen), 1 male; 4 F, 2 M on the way. Grendelchi: currently 4 females (2 second-gen), 1 male; 4 F, 5 M on the way (so Arya needs to get at chance at Gnarf! The others have more options!) Ettinchi: currently 3 females (1 second-gen), 1 male; 1 F, 1 M on the way. |

The stats I gave were for *current breeding age* creatchis, and the children due to hit adolescence in the next few days. There are younger creatchis, and older ones who already have partners. This was more of a marriage mart update. |
