Wow, I haven't stumbled onto this thread until now even though I love Creatchi... ^//^ haha oops.
Anyway, Fyre and Cody are getting set up! I think we're close \o/
Y'know, it's funny, too... at first, when the egg hatched and it was a Grendelchi, I was kinda disappointed! I wanted a Nornchi! But then I got attached... and expanded Fyre's personality a little more... I keep seeing mention of him in places at times and it makes me feel special, haha. ^////^ I love him now!

I remember feeling the same way. Then she hatched, and she was just so cute! Now we're gonna get little Grendelchi babies! :3

I think Ruby's destined to be a spinster for the rest of her life. Thank goodness that Norns can't own cats, because she'd probably have a record number of them right now! |

Don't worry, Laura, there's always the next creatchi! Though Ruby probably could help out with the eggs. Goodness knows that we have plenty of them needing watched over now. ![[nlaugh] [nlaugh]](/images/smilies/emot_laugh.gif)

TheSecond made this comment on Karias's recent bibble. I think the point it makes is important enough to Creatchi to warrant reposting it here as well.
TheSecond wrote: *mutters something unintelligible about impulse adoptions*
Please think your adoption though. Ask yourself if you have the time to commit to daily creatchi care. We are not yet sure of the average creatchi lifespan, but expect at least several weeks of feeding, playing with, and socializing your new creatchi.

Yeah, I've got admit, I worried a little when Stalactite and Azure's daughter was adopted. Creatchis seem to be born with fairly low stats and it felt like the little grendelchi was going to end up as yet another unnamed baby in the graveyard.
But then Christine came back from work, got Moog into shape and I felt bad for doubting. ![[nblush] [nblush]](/images/smilies/emot_blush.gif)
It must feel pretty dreadful to have someone adopt and then forget about the baby you put a lot of effort into making. I like the suggestion that adoption be changed so that if you want to pick up a generation 2 or higher creatchi, you have to have owned and looked after a generation 1 creatchi for this reason. ![[nsmile] [nsmile]](/images/smilies/emot_smile.gif)

That!
If this were true, all gen 2 would be kept in eggs for a LONG time, and honestly, the first ones adopted would be by people who killed their gen 1 Creatchis Because that's the quickest to go through gen 1, otherwise a good owner would be around longer than us with parent Creatchis. Our eggs would be waiting more than 20 days to be adopted.
I think users really should consider responsibility, but, some out there are doing a pretty good job. Much of it lately is about us the responsible owners helping others out and pushing them into being more active.

The idea is that you successfully raise a gen 1 Creatchi, for example dying from old age or having reproduced at least once.
Killing your gen 1 Creatchi would obviously be a bad thing and would not be enough to unlock adopting higher generations.
And I'd still be for some kind of exchange system. I keep finding apples all the time. I would much more like to get a new toy or two. What do I need apples for when my little girl bores to death?
It may work in the normal games, but I doubt that "eem bored, eem eat fruit" works for Creatchi...

Post more in more various areas. Each item is usually rewarded for posting in something specific. Bibbles seem to get both apples and balls, that or one or the other, Forum gets the other.
Downloads and News get the rest, - Medicine, Cheese, Teddy Bear. Galleries now get stuff too.

If you're after tips for items, the first post of this thread should help.
On a different subject, some observations on the graveyard...
There are 14 creatchis in the grayard. Out of these 14:
- A whopping 10 are male!
- 8 are red!
The graveyard's curse is pretty scary. ![[nskull] [nskull]](/images/smilies/emot_skull.gif)

Hehe, makes me proud to be the owner of a well cared for male red Creatchi
On another note, though, after Fyre passes (:C) I will definitely adopt a gen 2 Creatchi. And take extra special good care of it. <3

Now that we can gift items as well as socialise, I'd like to have a way to search for poorly creatchis so that I can gift items to the most in need.

Could we as owners get an option to allow other creatchi owners to give items directly to our creatchis? I love how we can help each other out with items, but if we can allow others to interact with our creatchis (I still think the proper plural of creatchi should be "creatchies" , raising the little pets would allow for more of a community project. While owners are still allowed to simply keep the care of their creatchis their own business. |

Ooo, I like this idea. :3 With an option to turn on/off, of course! I'd rather take care of Fyre myself, for instance, but some other people who aren't able to be as active might like a little help c:

Of course with the opportunity to have it turned off. That way, we could more easily help each other out,and even ask someone to look after our little friends when we don't have the time our self. Perhaps even a list of accepted caretakers, so you can choose who can take care of your creatchi.
Like this:
Allow external care:
*yes
*no
*selected friends
where "selected friends" brings up an input section where you write down the names of those who are allowed to interact with your creatchi.
And perhaps even further, a selection where, if you have chosen "yes" or "selected friends" on external care, you can choose what kind of care you want others to be able to give.
Like this:
Allow external caretakers to:
*feed my creatchi
*play with my creatchi
*medicate my creatchi
It's probably a lot of work, and perhaps not worth it, but it might also add something extra to the already so awesome experience. |

Um... If I've sent a breeding request to a Creatchi, and that Creatchi dies, can I send out another one to someone else if it was never accepted?

I hadn't really considered that scenario, so normally your Creatchi couldn't breed again in that situation. However I think it should be able to now. Thanks for letting me know.
Update
There was a bug whereby the gift box didn't reappear after a gift was sent. It should now reappear after 24 hours. Sorry about that.

ehe, were you a little nervous, Lily? I logged on this morning and tried to breed Cody and Fyre, then noticed you had sent me a breeding request... three times... xD
