You should check your My Documents folder and your Program Files folders. There's no pressure to send anything in if you don't have the time, though.

If you have windows vista/7/8 on your machine and the Creatures Exodus or Albian Years from GoG, you probably have them in your documents folder... look in 'Documents', in there should be a 'Creatures' folder, and inside that, a folder for each game, and in each game's folder you should see a 'My Creatures' folder (along with several others)... For docked C3/DS worlds you will need to look in the 'Docking Station' game folder, undocked ones in the 'Creatures 3' game folder...

Using Windows 7, I installed Creatures Exodus under My Documents and called the folder Creatures instead of Creatures Exodus.
Voilà, no more problems with two folders. Works for me, anyway. |

Yep, installing exodus into my documents/creatures that way would work... and you can do the same thing for albian years... It will probably also save you some disk space, since it seems some stuff is copied between the folders...
oh man... the music on the stream just gave me so much nostalgia... Alundra for PS1... such a cool game...

Sorry, just trying to be helpful, didn't realize I was being disruptive, since I was only trying to help someone figure out how to get at their creatures so they can upload them to the Creature Feature stream and add some new faces to it...
Love the stream by the way, the video game music gives me so much nostalgia too... I'll send up some of my enhanced norns if they are welcome. They aren't immortal or anything just an experiment of mine.

so i've figured it out, and i've managed to hatch a pair of eggs and put the two creatures into a zip folder for you, just need to know where to email them.
as a side note, i marked them down as twins in their bio's, as that's what i believed them to be since their eggs appeared right next to eachother at the same time, but looking at their parents, they are apparently not as such, so i apologize for that.
anyways they're both half-burin norn half-jungle grendle in appearance, with norn legs and head, with Grendel arms, torso, and tail. a result of their distant ancestor going around breeding with his own daughters, granddaughters, and great-granddaughters.
They're a male and a female fortunately enough, so hopefully he inherits some of his Ancestor’s drive, or if not hopefully she provides some fresh new eggs for her new home. |

I think what Kezune means is: Any gameplay or technical issues should be reserved for the Help Forum, (regardless of whether it's on-topic or not) and in future please leave this topic clear for any feedback about the Daily Creature Feature. It's a reasonable enough request, plus it can really help having everyone's questions answered in one designated forum; solutions are easier to search for that way!
Great job with the stream as always, Kezune! I couldn't watch it for a while, due to being stuck with a poor connection, but now I have my new router I'm back with my eyes glued. I've really enjoyed following the creatures in C12DS! |

Well it's good to see Nip making some freinds such as Wet Arm.
Nap however seems to just be hanging around the eggs for some reason
edit; well dang. nap hasn't moved from the eggs, and both he and nip are at 2% life fore. i'm guessing that means they're going to die soon. dang. |

Understood... Once again, I'm very sorry, I didn't realize I was doing anything wrong, I thought I was being on-topic and I am new to these forums... I don't want to be disruptive, I really like it here and I don't want to get anyone upset at me... Up until a few weeks ago I didn't even know anyone still remembered or cared about Creatures... I can delete my comments if you want, or else maybe an admin can move them to the appropriate forum?
Anyway, back on topic... You think a few of my norns would be welcome on the stream? They are not immortal or anything, just an experiment I've been working on. I'd love to see how they do and if they make friends (apparently, they can't be much worse at it than me, lol...)

I wonder if i could go about cloning Nip and Nap, as well as their few surviving egg-siblings and try to repopulate the species that way...
might give that a shot if they don't have any eggs here. they're running around with about 0% life force, wich i can only assume means they will die soon. |

Evolnemesis: No need to delete your comments, and don't worry; we were all new to the forum once. We're just here to keep Creatures Caves running smoothly, and sometimes that involves helping users and pointing them in the right direction!
But yes, back on topic (again) with a bing and a bong and a buzz, buzz, buzz! |

Evolnemesis: No hard feelings and of course your creatures would be welcome to the stream.
tamerman: they're your creatures so I don't see why you couldn't clone them and repopulate.
Does anyone else have creatures they'd be interested in sending along to the DCF stream?

Thanks so much! They've been added to the stream and I've replied to your email.
A notice for anyone else interested (yes, you geneticists, too) you're welcome to use the stream as a testbed to see how they do in a highly-populated wolfling-run style world like the stream's main world.

Yay, betty's making good friends... I figured she would... the first thing she did when I took her and put her into the workshop for her iq test was kiss the norn dummy about 20 times. She's very friendly for a hardman.
EDIT: just saw her again in a cluster kissing a bunch of other norns... boy is she friendly... guess it makes sense, she is named after Betty Boop.

looks like my lil guys didn't make it very far. ahh well. maybe i'll use the files i still have on my computer to clone them a couple of times and see if i can't come up with some new eggs to send over. or maybe hatch some of the others and give them a shot.
sad thing is that these guys were mostly taken during the decline of the species, when i made the mistake of splicing together males who never had kids to make new females, most of wich also never had kids. my best guess is that i inadvertently made the species infertile by doing this too much. i can only hope some of the eggs i do have have better luck. |

Thank you, KT. I'll import them right away.
tamerman, I'm sorry about that. :C The good news is that I've removed bacteria from this world so any future creatures you send would still have a pretty good chance, barring any super aggressive creatures lurking about. In any case, I look forward to any creatures you'd like to share.

Looks like everyone's doing okay except Hardy... he doesn't look like he'll make it, poor little guy, he feels like the jungle is his home, but there are no grendels in the jungle to beat on and no norns there to be friends with, doesn't look like there is food really either, and he seems clueless about the portal... My other 3 seem to be doing well... Though they all seem to be sticking together for some reason I can't figure out.
Do you have a list anywhere of all the agents in that world? Looks like there are a lot of cool ones I'd like to use.
Edit: lol Betty, she does practically nothing but sleep, wake up, push every norn she sees until she tires out, sleep, wake up, and repeat the process... She has to have eggs already. The first pair of norns i made with these edits filled up my world faster than anything I've ever seen. That's another advantage of not caring about speech I guess, they don't get crowded as easily, and they get right down to business..,

i think the big issue was that Nap spent all his time around the eggs for one reason or annother, quite frankly i'm surprised he lasted as long as he did without starving.
Nip i'm guessing either just got unlucky, or got trapped in the desert terrarium and couldn't find any food either. my guys aren't used to portals. |

Here you go! I do need to update the list, though. At the beginning of the IQ test, you'll find the DS Timer and Advanced Egg Finder. Then, scattered, you'll find Baloon Pidgeons, many Garden Box agents, etc. To spread Bramboo I like to use the Growable Bramboo Vendor. I think you'll find many of the agents listed in the download section of the site.
If you want more general information, you can always visit this page, too. By the way, the 'portals' you see there are actually Torii, another agent available here. I have them designated as doors and they're properly CA linked.

Thanks! Yeah, I know about those Torii, very cool little things... Malkin suggested I try them. I have them set as portals in my world. I'm clueless about linking CAs through them, so putting them as doors wasn't that helpful for me. I mainly got them just to have some kind of portal in my world for the norns that kept telling each other to push portals, and as an alternate way to reduce crowding in my norn rooms.
On a bright note, it looks like Hardy actually will make it! I guess he realized once he hit <1% life force that he had better eat something and made it through... He seems to be on the mend... I was worried he'd sit there feeling sorry for himself until he starved, which is exactly what I tried to engineer him NOT to do...
