I don't think so, but you should be able to find a Nova Subterra genome in your folder. Just hatch a first gen Nova Norn and look for the moniker in the science or health kit. Then find it in your genome folder. The Mobula Ray - My Creatures blog |

I think Norns in C1/C2 are bred from two parent genomes? So you might have gotten a very unlucky mutation. Also, I tried searching for a Nova genome and didn't find one. Didn't have much luck finding a Canny genome a few months ago either. The Mobula Ray - My Creatures blog |

It's not just you. If your post contained dashes, or a few other characters, then your forum post won't show up. It's a glitch that still hasn't been fixed. A while ago the site was forced to upgrade and everything kind of broke. Some parts, like certain characters blanking out your post, are still broken. If your image url contains dashes, you might try uploading it to a different image site like Imgur? The Mobula Ray - My Creatures blog |

There's actually one in the base game, in C3 at least. Here's the wiki page for it and the "DS Connective Pack" from here is a way to get it in DS. You still need C3 installed though, since it uses C3 sprites. The Mobula Ray - My Creatures blog |

I don't know if this has ever been discussed, but does anyone have a copy of the 'uninteresting' norns? They were a sprite breed in a simple patternless beige colour, presumably good for splicing with other creatures and blending well! They're mentioned along with a screen-cap http://http://www.tangentrine.com/wyvernslodge/ but they're just listed as 'unavailable', without stating if they were withdrawn or simply lost to the sands of time- Anyone have any ideas? Grendel Man: Not that I know of, unfortunately. Do you have a specific thing in mind? Sometimes I use a sprite editor to get sprites from the game, or Norn Poser. Probably won't help much, but you never know! I wasn't sure exactly where this fits in, but does anyone have the catalogue files for Aquatilis Caverna V4 and/or Aquatilis Caverna 2? It might actually be just one file I'm looking for. I just installed them for the first time and have the catalogue files in the correct place, but there are still unknown agents. I noticed that there was a comment regarding a missing catalogue file for AC V4, although I'm not sure if that was ever included in the download. It's nothing horrible, but I would greatly appreciate it if anyone could point me in the right direction. Thanks! |

So maybe I do have the right files? I suppose some additions may not have been included in the file. Yup, I used it for the CCSF C2 run. It's been a while since I downloaded it but I think it's in either the "Bunch Stuff" or "More Updates" pack from here. Back to a couple of questions regarding files for Aquatilis Caverna. I found the fix by Moe for a few issues with images/population control. Then I found this topic about installing all of the necessary files. There used to be a Freewebs site (now down) that included toy images and catalogue files. Would anyone happen to know more about those, and possibly where I can find them? Thanks! |

Thank you for sending over those two files, Malkin! I'm going to have a look at those, likely tomorrow, and will send you an e-mail. Feels like there are a lot of parts to Aquatilis Caverna! Unfortunately the catalogue file is injected in-game, so mine is dated April 1, 2015. Ha! However, the one KittyTikara posted a few posts above has exactly the same contents. Reading the Creatures Wiki article, I'm missing information about things like the eel, lobster, water lily, etc. Maybe they were never included in a catalogue file (it is possible) but I'm trying my best to find it before coming to that conclusion. Thanks for the help so far! |

There's also the toy at the very top of AC, kind of like a ball on a rope tied to a stick. It's purple. And that's a pretty awful description. Ha! That's one of the main ones I know isn't included in the AC catalogue file. I may be looking for something that doesn't exist, though. Not the end of the world! Everything functions: I just wanted to see if I could get more information about the critters/plants. Thanks for all of your help, Malkin! I'll still get back to you on those other files, as I think those have some different stuff. |

Sorry about the double-post... I'll try to consolidate my searches as best I can! I'm not too confident that I'll be able to find this, but I figured I'd ask anyway. I'm looking for the program called NornFamily, created by Elisabeth Witek. It's a C1 utility for tracking Norns, and supposedly had the ability to create a family tree. I'm just curious about this after reading about it in the Creatures 1 strategy guide. I've found the following links that have .zip files for download, but sadly they weren't archived. Creature Labs Archive Archived Backup of Creature Labs I'm also aware that this was part of a very controversial history that resulted in the closing of the Norn Society. Not trying to bring up anything negative with this: I'm purely just interested to see if this program might be able to help me with keeping track of my Norns. Thanks! |

I have of late, lost all my aardvarks. Does anyone have the biostorm aardvarks, or the norngirl mane spotted aardvarks? Both for c2. Norngirl's temporary webpage has reference to them but the link for Msan_installC2^-^.zip is greyed out, doesn't work. Thanks! |

sorry to be so needy, but I almost have every breed I am looking for. I can't find norngirls icenorns, or her gremilin norns. I am going to make a new version of turtle norns, has to be done. If I were to use the c3 version sprites to make a c2 version, what is the community feeling on that? Is that frowned apon as kitbashing? |
