Notice that the word in question was "World," not "Environment." I believe it means that they can't be exported and imported. Makes sense, given that FC is planning on making it so that one can access a saved world from any of their devices, so it's not that big a loss. A little jarring given that every other game had that option, but it makes sense.

If, however, it does mean that norns are restricted to the environments...then what the heck, FC?

I'm pretty sure they've referred to the environments as worlds in the past; I'm trying not to read too closely into their terminology given that they aren't (all) native English speakers and have said some slightly odd stuff before.

Pretty sure I saw them moving Norns between 2 of the various environment rooms in a demo, so you should be able to move them around between the places like the beach, hatchery, and cave norn area. I don't know if they can migrate between the rooms by themselves though.

I wonder if it'll have separate areas like the C3/DS world as opposed to a disc world like C2. It'll be interesting to see what they do given it's 3D.
