I've got my fingers crossed for you that Mocha finds a mate soon, Hebi! It'll be nice for Ruby to have a grandchild. |

The grendelchi sure are eager to be ahead of the pack with advanced generations! Of course it probably helps that their caregivers are quite active. ![[nlaugh] [nlaugh]](/images/smilies/emot_laugh.gif)
On a more serious note, I hope the owners of the neglected Creatchis show up to take care of their charges soon. I'm sure you all can figure out which two I'm eying intensely at the moment.

I hope to be able to get Sprig wedded soon.
After that, I hope to be able to get a third gen Grendel. :3

I'm quite happy to see that the Grendelchis are in the lead with generations. It's a nice twist versus the common love of Nornchis.

Erm, I had thought that there was going to be a conformation button implemented for Creatchi adoption...
I just mis-clicked on the Creatchi page and am now the proud owner of a gen 1 creatchi. It's not that I'm annoyed over adopting a creatchi, it's that I had wanted to adopt a gen 2+ creatchi.
Well, time to pick a name I guess.
My favorite norn is still Belldandy. |

I don't think I ever said that I was going to add a confirmation message for Creatchi adoptions. Sorry for any confusion.
Anyway, congrats on your new Creatchi.

When I try to adopt Arya's egg it tells me that I must successfully hatch and raise a 1st generation before I can adopt this egg... |

Honestly, they're all cute! My bias for grendelchis comes from my recent C3/DS games using grendels and my fondness for Stalactite.

My nornchi is now an adult! :-) (But there's almost no male nornchi)
I think I'd like to get an ettinchi later, they look very cute and funny.

I'm going to try raising a second gen (or higher) creatchi next. Even if that means waiting. |

I'm just going to keep raising first gen creatchis. No fuss or confusion (Mostly confusion) over who wants to raise which like there is with the higher gens. ![[nlaugh] [nlaugh]](/images/smilies/emot_laugh.gif)
I'm starting to wonder if male creatchis have a curse related to the Redshirts.

Not only a lack -of- them, but also the slight (or sharp, if you think that's more accurate) rise in neglect of them. Yes, yes, I know, females are special too; but we don't have a gene splicer option if a next generation egg is desired from them. I'm not suggesting that, but I think poor Rascii would lose all of the hairs on his body if he attempted it! Well, that is if he hasn't gone completely bald by now anyway.

Rascii's done a wonderful job already. I think it's just a matter of time before some males pop up. Seasonal gender bias, perhaps? ![[nlaugh] [nlaugh]](/images/smilies/emot_laugh.gif)

I think if we took a census of all Creatchi hatched, the numbers of male and female should be within expected variance, or whatever the statistics term is.
I think the survival rates are skewed, though. |

Good thing I'm not all too concerned about finding Zojja a mate. But then, the nerdy mad(ish) scientist types are hard to find to mates for. Zetta IV was just doing every Creatchi a service. Who knows if that cheese replicator that Zojja is working on is a cover for something more sinister!

There's always going to be a need for people to raise first-gen creatchis, because of the one-child limit. The greater the population of creatchis, the more chance that creatchis will be able to pair up.
